PETERSEN MEDIA- Doing double-duty over the weekend at Adobe Mountain Speedway, Austin Torgerson picked up a Friday night win in Winged Outlaw action and backed it up with third place finishes on Saturday night in A Class and Outlaw competition.

Running A-Class and Outlaw both nights, Friday night saw Torgerson qualify second in A-Class action before finishing third in his heat race. Lining up 13^th in the ‘A’ Class feature event, issues arose for the Glendale, AZ driver and it resulted in him taking a DNF in the class.

In Winged Outlaw action on Friday night, he was very strong from start to finish. Going from second to first in his heat race, Torgerson earned the pole for the feature event.

When the green flag was displayed to the field, Torgerson quickly mashed the throttle and took command of the race. Out in front, the Arizona runner was not to be denied as he cruised to his first win of the 2026 season and also locked himself into the Saturday night Winged Outlaw feature event.

Saturday’s pole shuffle saw Torgerson come up short in the finals, and his second place finish put him on the outside of the front row for the feature event that was slated for later in the evening.

A Class action on this night saw him time in fastest in his group, which placed him in the fourth starting spot in his heat race. Putting on a show in his heat, Torgerson went from fourth to pick up the win and locked into the A Class Pole shuffle as well.

Ending up fifth in the shuffle, Torgerson took the green flag from the A Class feature event from the inside of the third row. Continuing to work his way forward in the feature just as he did in his heat, he worked his way up to the podium as he finished third when the feature event came to a close.

In Outlaw action, Torgerson lined up on the front row and settled into second as the race came to life. Looking for a way into the lead, Torgerson lost a spot over the duration of the race as he closed the night out with another third place finish, giving himself three podiums on the weekend.
