PETERSEN MEDIA: Just as he capped 2025 off in victory lane at Marysville Raceway, Andy Forsberg opened 2026 up in identical fashion as he picked up the win Saturday night at Marysville Raceway during the Toller Memorial.

“It was great to get our season kicked off on Saturday night, and to win another Toller Memorial is really special,” Andy Forsberg said. “It was a bummer that car counts were light in all three divisions with nothing else going on, but it was a crazy week of weather, and it is pretty early start to the season for us in CA as well.”

Hitting the track on Saturday night, Forsberg timed the Pacific Highway Rentals/ Wilkie Masonry/PitStopUSA backed No. 92 in second fastest in time trials before working his way from fourth to second in his heat race.

Drawing the two in the redraw, Forsberg was on the front row of the feature event and started alongside Jake Haulot. When the race came to life, Haulot got the jump as Forsberg settled into second on a very heavy and fast surface.

Despite the low car count, the leaders were still able to get to the back of the field and in traffic things got dicey on the tricky surface.

Able to get by Haulot to take the lead in traffic, Forsberg was able to keep the field at bay as he went on to pick up the win in what was a non-stop 8 minute feature event.

“The track was super gnarly, but it was in really good shape despite all of the weather,” Forsberg said. “I also want to thank my guys for their hard work all winter long and building some really nice cars.”
