Chance Grasty’s Consistent Start to 2026 Continues
PETERSEN MEDIA- Continuing an extremely consistent start to the 2026 season, Chance Grasty and the F&F Racing team picked up a seventh-place finish on Saturday night during the second round of NARC action.
“We got a very good draw, and that helped us time in third fastest,” Chance Grasty said. “Qualifying with NARC is huge, so that really set the tone for the rest of the night.”
With 29 cars checked into the pit area, the Suisun City, CA timed the Bushey Financial Services/C&H Motor Parts/Sierra Single Ply Roofing backed No. x1 entry in third quickest in time trials.
Just needing to finish in the top-six in his heat race to qualify for the Dash, Grasty got a great jump from his fourth starting position as he settled into second. Searching around the Thunderbowl surface, Grasty did lose a position but his third-place finish was still enough to garner a Dash berth and lock into the feature event.
Finishing sixth in the Dash, Grasty was set to take the green flag for the feature event from the outside of the third row.
When the race came to life, Grasty quickly jumped into fifth before the first of a few cautions that were scattered in the race flew.
Slipping back to seventh on the first restart, Grasty was able to race is way forward, but found himself in a couple of multi car battles for position, with action all over the 1/3 mile oval.
Getting back into the Top-Five at one point, Grasty slipped back to seventh when the checkered flag flew on the feature event.
“There was really good action in the feature event, and we had a good car,” Grasty added. “We were just back in seventh when the rubber started to go down in the last few laps and that’s where he finished. Overall, I was pretty happy with the night in general.”
F&F Racing would like to thank Bushey Financial Services, C&H Motor Parts, Sierra Single Ply Roofing, Triple X Race Co., Wrayvon, CRV Carbon Solutions, Econo Lube ‘N’ Tune, XC Gear, All Pro Heads, Engler, and Don Ott Racing Engines for their support.
ON TAP: F&F Racing and Chance Grasty will travel to Placerville Speedway on Saturday night to take on the Sprint Car Challenge Tour.
