PETERSEN MEDIA- Saturday night in Stockton, CA was one to remember for Chance Grasty and the F&F Racing team. Teaming up at the end of the 2024 season, bad luck chased the team around northern California, but that all changed on Saturday night as the Suisun, CA driver rode to the win.

“The night went really well for us as a team,” Grasty said. Going out near the end of the qualifying session, it put us in a great spot in our heat race and that led to a really solid night.”

Despite a light field being on hand, Grasty and company were excited for the opportunity get their season underway. Timing in sixth fastest in time trials, Grasty put the Bushey Financial services/C&H Motorsports/Sierra Singly Ply Roofing backed No. x1 on the front row of his heat race.

Racing to the win, Grasty moved into the four-lap Dash where the win there lined the youngster up on the front row of the 25-lap feature event. With the early start time came heavy track ware that ultimately saw the slick conditions begin to take rubber as the race came to life.

Getting the nod as the action came to life, Grasty found himself in the right place as the rubber began to go down on the racing surface creating a very narrow racing surface.

Up front, Grasty simply had to focus on hitting his marks and keeping his tires underneath him for the duration of the feature event, and he did just that as he was able to park the Friends and Family entry in victory lane to kick the season off.

“It feels great to finally get our first win together especially with all of the bad luck we endured at the end of the year,’ Grasty added. “On top of that, its even better to get out first win of the season out of the way and we just hope we can keep them coming. Big thanks to the F&F team and all of the people that make this possible and continue to support us.
