PETERSEN MEDIA: Joel Myers Jr wasted no time reacclimating to the Daniel Anderson Racing No. 3NZ as he picked up the feature event win during his opening event in NZ at Riverside Speedway. 

“After the weather delayed the start to our season a couple of weekends ago, it was great to get back in the seat of the DAR entry,” Joel Myers Jr said. “It is always good to get a win early in the year, and to start it off in victory lane hopefully sets a nice tone for the year ahead.”

Lining The Ranch Bar and Grill/Suck It Up/Vertex backed No. 3NZ up in the second row of his heat race, the Sebastopol, CA driver quickly settled into second. 

Biding his time, Meyers Jr was patient in the first heat as he took a second place finish and lined up in the fourth row of his second heat race. 

From the back of the pack, Myers Jr showcased a very strong entry as he was to work his way through the field quickly. Racing his way to the lead, Myers Jr scored the win which ultimately lined him up on the pole of the feature event. 

When the field was given the green flag, Joel Myers Jr continued to flex his muscle as he jumped out to the early lead. Out in front, Myers Jr was able tot put his car anywhere he needed as she showed he was the dominant car on this night. 

Able to use precision to get through traffic, Myers Jr never missed a beat as he went on to pick up his first feature event of the season in NZ, and his 13^th overall in 2025. 

“It is not a track that I get to a ton when I am in NZ, so to be as good as we were tells a pretty good story about our race team,” Joel Myers Jr said. “Happy to be back, and looking forward to catching up so many fans over here.”
