PETERSEN MEDIA: Ending his 2025 season in the United States with an exclamation point, Joel Myers Jr backed up his Trophy Cup Championship by winning the Sprint Car Challenge Tour’s season finale at Stockton Dirt Track.

“It was great to spend some time at home with my family and get in one more race before heading back over to New Zealand,” Joel Myers Jr said. “We really had a great night and it’s great to end the year with a win.”

With 26 cars checked into the pit area, Myers Jr got off to a great start as he timed the All About Fire Protection/Velocity Engineering/DirtDudes Excavating backed No. 19 in seventh fastest in qualifying time trials.

Lining up on the pole of his heat race, the Sebastopol, CA driver got the jump on the extremely fast Stockton Dirt Track. Leading from start to finish, Myers Jr’s win locked him into the Dash.

Pulling the two in the redraw, Myers Jr took full advantage of the front row starting position as he powered his way to the lead and again raced to the win. With the win, Myers Jr earned the pole for the feature event.

Leading the field to green, Myers Jr was very strong out front, however issues behind him slowed the early pace of the feature.

Nailing each and every restart that was thrown out him, Myers Jr was able to fend off Justin Sanders and close the season ending win as he now turns his attention to his 2025/2026 NZ season.

“I really want to thank all of the great people that support me and my racing,” Joel Myers Jr said. “It was really cool to end the season like we did, and I am very thankful for the opportunities that I have. Really excited to see how we can get 2026 started off once I return from NZ.”
