PETERSEN MEDIA- Though he didn’t lead many laps on Friday night, Jonathan Allard led the one that counted the most as he picked up his fourth consecutive feature event win at the Silver Dollar Speedway before a roller coaster night at the Placerville Speedway on Saturday night.

“I really have to give credit to Chase Maidic,” Allard said following his win on Friday night. “He drove a heck of a race, but I think all the laps I have ran at the Silver Dollar Speedway helped me grab the win.”

Friday night saw Allard get off to a great start as he set the standard during qualifying time trials, as he was the only driver to dip into the 11 second bracket during the session.

Lining up in the second row of his heat race, ‘JA’ would work his way forward from his fourth starting spot to finish second in the race, and solidify his spot in the nightly redraw.

Pulling the vaunted eight pill, Allard would have his work cut out for him during the 25-lap feature event. Chasing after early race leader, Andy Forsberg, Allard would work his way up to the third spot. Chasing after both Forsberg and Majdic, Allard would take over the second spot as the race leader had trouble.

Now in the second spot, Allard would go to work on Majdic as he was in pursuit of his fourth consecutive win. On the 23rd lap, Allard would dive low in turns one and two, and take the race lead as he led 1 ½ laps on this night to claim his 61st career win at the track he calls home.

Heading to the Placerville Speedway on Saturday night to take on the King of the West Series, Allard would time the K&N Products/ButlerBuilt/Amerikote No. 3c machine in fifth fastest. Getting the jump in his heat race, the start would be waived off and Allard would then find himself on the front row for the restart. Not getting the jump, Allard would finish second and miss out on a spot in the nightly Dash.

Lining up ninth in the feature event, Allard would work his way forward and into the Top-Five until he was involved in a mid-race incident. Able to restart, Allard would fight his way back to a 14th place finish.

“We just cannot seem to catch a break with the King of the West Series,” Allard said. “We have been in a good spot the last handful of races, and aside from Calistoga, things just have not been going our way. The guys have been working hard, and hopefully we can bounce back this weekend at the Murphy.”

Allard would like to thank Tri-C Manufacturing, K&N, ButlerBuilt, Amerikote, King Racing Products, BR Motorsports, Red Line Oil, KSE Racing Products, Weld Wheels, NGK Spark Plugs, FK Rod Ends, Hunt Magnetos, Longacre Products, RCM Design, Ti64, A.R.T. Speed Equipment, AL Driveline,  and Hoosier Tire for their support.

2015 BY THE NUMBERS: Races-42, Wins-9, Top 5’s-20, Top 10’s-26.

ON TAP: Allard and his Tri-C Motorsports team will be at the Keller Auto Speedway on Friday night for a night of King of Kings 360 action before heading to the Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, CA on Saturday night for the  2nd Annual Peter Murphy Classic.
