Andy Gregg Set For 40-Race Schedule Aboard GUTS No. 16

PETERSEN MEDIA: With racing getting underway on the West Coast in just a few short week, Placerville, CA driver, Andy Gregg, is excited to welcome some new partners to his GUTS Racing Team and announce his plans of a 40-race schedule.

“I am extremely excited to have a lot of our partners back with us in 2016, as well as Mike’s Hard Lemonade and Angius and Terry LLP,” Gregg said. “We will run mainly at Placerville Speedway but also will get to a few other tracks on occasion.”

After running the last two and half seasons for Scott and Kami Russell, Andy Gregg will return to the seat of his familiar GUTS Racing No. 16 machine fulltime for the season ahead as he chases after the track championship at the famed Placerville Speedway.

Gregg will kick his season off on March 4th and 5th at the Silver Dollar Speedway as his GUTS/Mike’s Hard Lemonade/Angius and Terry backed No. 16 machine will take on the region’s best during the annual Silver Cup.

Other special events away from the Placerville Speedway in 2016 include Civil War Seires action in Chico, CA and Marysville, CA, as well as the famed Gold Cup Race of Champions, the Pacific Sprint Fall Nationals and the Trophy Cup.

Gregg also plans on taking on the World of Outlaws and the King of the West Series when they invade the high-banked Placerville Speedway.

“I am fortunate to have some good people behind me, and I am very much looking forward to being in the No. 16 car all year long,” Gregg said. “It was a great run with the Russell family over the last few seasons and I am looking forward to seeing what they do with the Placerville Speedway this year.
