Austin McCarl and Country Builders Racing Join Forces for Remainder of 2021

PETERSEN MEDIA: Taking a couple months off to regroup and revaluate, Kyle Offill has made the decision to step away from racing and focus on his career. With Kyle stepping back, Country Builders Racing has made the decision to continue racing in 2021 and have made the decision to team up with Altoona, IA driver, Austin McCarl.

“I am super excited that Country Builders has made the decision to hire Austin McCarl to drive the No. 88 for the rest of the season, “Kyle Offill said. “He is like family to us, and this is a great fit. I made the decision to step away from racing to focus on my career and other aspects of life, but I am still very happy that my family has made the decision to continue racing. I’d like to thank my Mom, Dad, and Papa, for everything they have done for me over the years as well, Country Builders and all of my sponsors that have supported me and allowed me to chase my dream.”

With a lot of racing left in the Golden State in 2021, McCarl and Country Builders racing will make their debut together over the Labor Day Weekend in Chico, CA as they take part in the famed Louie Vermeil Classic.

“It is a really cool opportunity to get the drive the iconic Country Builders Racing No. 88,” Austin McCarl said. “I am really excited as this car has been a part of my family for a very long time, and it is a car that my dad has driven before. I am really appreciative for the Offill family, and I am looking forward to getting back out to CA with a great family and team to run some really cool races.”

Following ‘the Louie’, the team will then challenge the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series as they head to Chico, CA for the Gold Cup, then head to Hanford, CA, and Placerville, CA the following weekend.

Once the Outlaws escape town, the focus will then turn back to the King of the West schedule, as the plan is to run the season out with the series, and mix in a few 360ci races including the 27th Annual Trophy Cup in Tulare, CA.
