PETERSEN MEDIA- Spending her weekend in Greenwood, NE with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour, Harli White had some bad luck on Saturday night that cost her big time during Fall Brawl III.

“Overall with the weekend we had, it was not all bad, as I really think we learned a lot about our car, and we really are getting faster, though our results from the weekend did not show it,” Harli White explained.

Following a brutal Friday night, White and her Harli White Racing team were back in action on Saturday night for the Fall Brawl III finale.

Getting to the lead in her heat race, White looked to be well on her way to the A Main event, but trouble would strike, as the U Join broke on her Mesilla Valley Transportation/Jerry Tucker Roustabout/Lucas Oil backed entry, ending her heat race, and forcing her into the B Main.

Being scored last in her heat, White was lined up scratch on the field in the B main, with a lot of ground to make up for any shot at making the feature event.

Making repairs to her machine, White and company made some changes to their set up, and White was off and running in the B Main.

From her 14th starting spot, White worked around the I 80 Speedway as he climbed inside the Top-10 and began battling with Jack Dover.

Sitting in the ninth spot, White’s night would come to an end, as he crossed the finish line in the same position, missing out on a transfer to the feature.

“It was disappointing to break in our heat race, but we were fast, and that was a positive out of a bad situation,” she added. “We struggled so much on Friday, that was a breath of fresh air, and now we will look to Wheatland, MO.”

Harli White Racing would like to thank Mesilla Valley Transportation, Jerry Tucker Roustabout, Lucas Oil, Charlie’s Trucking, PXP Racewear, All Star Cafe, Boyd’s Racing Engines, Race Chic, Crash Enterprises, Outlaw Wings, Super Flow Testers, Simpson, Classic Seagulls UK, Eagle Motorsports, and the Shriners Hospital For Children Gavelston for their support during the 2014 season.

2014 BY THE NUMBERS: Starts-43, Wins-0, Top 5’s-8, Top 10’s-15.

ON TAP: White will be back in action this weekend with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour as she will compete in the Hockett/McMillin Memorial at the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO.
