Bad Luck Gets Robbie Price at State Line Speedway
PETERSEN MEDIA- Making the trip to the State Line Speedway in Post Falls, ID over the weekend, Robbie Price would have a little bit of bad luck cause him and his Rendle Motorsports to DNF on Saturday night.
Returning to the pavement with the Royal Purple NSRA Series, Price would get his night off to a nice start as he was able to time his No. 14 machine in fourth fastest in qualifying time trials.
Finishing third in his heat race, the Cobble Hill, BC driver would earn a spot in the redraw where the eighth pill would line him up in the fourth row for the feature event.
Getting off to a great start, Price would show speed as he has done so in each of his pavement starts this season, as he quickly worked up into the fourth position. While running fourth, the leaders would find themselves in lapped traffic and this would prove to be bad for Price.
While working through traffic, Price would come in contact with a slower car, and the end result would leave him with damage to his machine, and his night would come to and early end.
“We have been really good each and every night out, and I can’t thank this team enough for providing me with such a fast racecar,” Price said. “We had a really good start to the race, but unfortunately a little bit of bad luck caught up to us and we had to take a DNF.”
Price and his team would like to thank Millstone Heating and Sheet Metal, Tiger Towing, Rod End Supply, Wildlight Photography, Shark Racing Engines, and Speedmart for their support during the 2016 season.
2016 BY THE NUMBERS- Starts-25, Wins-2, Top-5’s-6, Top 10’s-12
ON TAP: Price will now get back to the dirt this weekend as he will be in action with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour when they take to the Gray’s Harbor Raceway in Elma, WA this Friday and Saturday night.
