Becker Takes Top-5 Finish To Big Bradway Weekend

PETERSEN MEDIA- Though Sean Becker and his Menne Motorsports team haven’t been as dominant at the Silver Dollar Speedway to date, as many are accustomed to seeing, Becker is feeling very confident in his team as the big Dave Bradway, Jr Memorial weekend approaches.

“Though our results don’t show it, I was really happy with how we ran on Friday night,” Becker said.

Taking part in the Bill Brownell Memorial on Friday night at the Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, CA, Becker got his night started off by timing his Mike’s Hard Lemonade/Cherry Street Mini Storage/Menne Ranch Hay Inc. No. 75 machine in fourth fastest, before starting third and finishing fourth in heat race action.

The redraw saw ‘The Shark’ pull the five pill, putting him in the third row for feature event. As the race came to life, Becker would find himself in close battles with drivers like Jason Statler, Willie Croft, and Justyn Cox.

As they all fought wheel-to-wheel during much of the race, Becker would fall back to the sixth spot during the race, as we he worked the bottom side of the speedway. Running a very patient race, Becker would take advantage of a late restart, and work his way back into the fifth spot, where he would go on to finish, as he now looks forward to Bradway Memorial weekend that takes place this weekend at the Silver Dollar Speedway.

“The car felt really strong on Friday night, and I think we are molding into form at eh right time,” Becker said. “We have a huge weekend on tap, and it would be great to get this 75 car into victory lane for the Menne family, and all of our supporters.”
