Ben Worth Grabs Tulare Top-10 with Tiner Hirst Development
PETERSEN MEDIA: Saturday night in Tulare, CA, Ben Worth climbed aboard the Tiner Hirst Development entry in Tulare, CA and put together a great night that saw him score a 10th place finish with the Kings of Thunder Series.
“I had a great time on Saturday night with Steven Tiner, and the THE guys,” Ben Worth said. “I ran for Steven Tiner a few times last year, and it was good to get back together with him and do it again.”
Saturday night in Tulare, CA worth would open the night up by timing the No. 94 machine fifth fastest in qualifying time trials with 20 cars checked in for the event.
Lining up in the second row of his heat race, Worth would get into a little trouble as contact with the wall saw him slow to a stop and make a trip to the work area. Able to restart, Worth would finish in the sixth position, which lined him up in the seventh row for the 30-lap feature event.
From the 13th starting position, Worth would do a great job of fighting for position as he chased after a strong finish, as well as his first finish at the demanding track. Able to make some nice moves, Worth would claw his way up into 10th when the checkered flag flew on the race.
“It was a good first night out, and I felt really comfortable all night long,” Worth added. “The guys did a great job with set up for me, and gave me some great advice that helped finish where we did. Thanks to everyone who made it possible.”
