PETERSEN MEDIA: Turning their attention to the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series schedule for the final few weeks of the season, Brock Zearfoss and Destiny Motorsports would have a night Sunday evening that saw them finish 10th at Eldora Speedway.

“We seem to be getting better each and every time we visit Eldora Speedway, so to get a Top-10 while still working on our engine program was a really good night,” Brock Zearfoss said.

Timing the MonDak Portables/Ft. Union Supply and Trading/Moose’s LZ Bar and Grill No. 4 machine in seventh quickest in qualifying flight ‘B’ Sunday night, the Jonestown, PA pilot would advance from fourth to third in his heat race and move directly into Eldora Speedway’s final 30-lap feature event of the 2018 season.

Lining up in the fifth row for the feature event, Zearfoss would hold steady as he continues to make strides at the historic venue in what has been limited starts. Finding himself battling with the likes of Shane Stewart, Logan Schuchart, and and Sheldon Haudenschild, Zearfoss was able to keep the Destiny Motorsports machine inside the Top-10 as he took the Sunday night checkered flag in the 10th position.

Saturday night the team was in action in Indiana as they checked in at Terre Haute Action Track in Terre Haute, IN. Timing in ninth fastest in qualifying time trials, Zearfoss would run third in his heat race chasing after Christopher Bell and Brian Brown.

Moving into the feature event, Zearfoss would grid the field from the ninth starting position as he took the green flag alongside Logan Schuchart. On the big half mile speedplant, Zearfoss would fight a bit of a tight racecar that would see him lose a couple of positions during the course of the 31-lap affair.

Doing all he could from the cockpit, Zearfoss would take the checkered flag with a 15th place finish.

“Getting to these places that I am unfamiliar with and having speed, and making gains is great,” Zearfoss noted. “Thanks to everyone for all of their hard work and for their continued support.”

Destiny Motorsports would like to thank MonDak Portables, Ft. Union Supply and Trading, Moose’s LZ Bar and Grill, Heavy Equipment Loaders and Parts, Berkebile Oil Company, BAPS Auto Paint and Supply, Meckleys Limestone, Champion Brand Lubricants, All Star Performance, KSE Racing Products, HRP, Wilwood, Keizer Wheels, Simpson, Petersen Media, My Race Pass, FK Rod Ends, Boss Signs and Graphics, Classic Ink, Brown and Miller Racing Solutions, C&H Veteran Enterprises, and Hoosier Tires North for their continued support.

2018 BY THE NUMBERS: Starts-86, Wins-0, Top 5’s-16, Top 10’s-40.
