Carson Macedo Parks in Hanford Victory Lane in Rare Tarlton Motorsports Cameo

PETERSEN MEDIA- With the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series having a rare off weekend, Carson Macedo returned home to get back to his roots and race with Tarlton Motorsports where he would claim a victory on Saturday night in Hanford, CA.
“It was a really awesome weekend to get home and race with the Tarlton’s again,” Carson Macedo said. “I thought we had a lot of speed both nights as we finished fourth on Friday in Watsonville, CA and got the win on Saturday in Hanford, CA.”
Saturday night Macedo would make his first ever start with the new Kings of Thunder Series as Keller Auto Speedway in Hanford, CA was on the docket.
Timing the Tarlton and Son, Inc./Executive Auto Sales/Pabco Gypsum entry in second quickest in qualifying time trials, the Lemoore, CA native would flex his muscle in heat race action and grab a win after lining up fourth.
Continuing to showcase some speed, Macedo would grab a couple of positions in the Dash as a second place finish put him on the front row of the feature event alongside DJ Netto.
Battling with the likes of DJ Netto and Dominic Scelzi during the course of the feature event, Macedo would find himself out front for the first time with just four laps to go.
A late restart would see Scelzi take a couple of shots for the lead, but the WoO regular kept him machine up front and grabbed the win.
Friday night saw the Tarlton Motorsports check in at Ocean Speedway in Watsonville, CA.
Timing in third fastest amongst the 17 cars in attendance, Macedo would pick up a fourth place finish in heat race action which put him in the third row to start the 30-lap feature event.
Keeping his machine inside the Top-Five on this night, Macedo would battle with the likes of younger brother, Cole, Justin Sanders, as well as Brad Furr.
When the Ed Entz flag waived, Macedo would close his night with a fourth place finish.
“Fun weekend, and I am extremely thankful Tom and Tommy Tarlton, and Paul Baines let me have some fun racing back at home with a break in my schedule,” Carson Macedo said.
Tarlton Motorsports would like to thank Tarlton and Son, Inc., Executive Auto Sales, Pabco Gypsum, Bandy and Associates, All Star Performance, and BG Lubricants for their support through the 2019 season.
