PETERSEN MEDIA- Making his way to Tulare, CA to take part in the second night of the rain delayed Peter Murphy Classic, Willie Croft would also take part in 360 action on Friday night and came away with a trio of Top-10 finishes.

Friday night marked a Kings of Thunder 360ci event, and Croft kicked what was a busy weekend off with the fourth fastest lap of the night in time trials aboard the Holey Smokes BBQ/ButlerBuilt/Brown and Miller backed No. 29 machine.
Running third in heat race competition, Croft moved into the feature event where he rolled off the starting grid form the seventh position. Working his way into the Top-Five, Croft would continue to search around the Thunderbowl Speedway until issues with the front end forced him to slow.
Going to the work area, Croft would rejoin the field and work his way forward to salvage his night with a ninth place finish.
Saturday night brought on the weather-delayed finale of the Peter Murphy Classic that was originally slated for mid-May.
In 360 action, Croft finished second in his heat race and by turning the fastest lap of second place finishers in all heats, earned the eighth and final berth into the Pole Shuffle.
Going on quite the run in the Shuffle, Croft would several of the match races and ended up third, which placed him in the second row for the 30-lap 360 Peter Murphy Classic feature event.
Battling hard in the feature, Croft would keep his machine inside the Top-10 as he took the checkered flag with a sixth place finish.
In KWS action, Croft kicked the night off by timing in fourth quick, before running second in his heat race.
Having enough points to qualify for the shuffle, the Roseville, CA driver would win one match, and improve his starting position as he rolled off fourth in the 30-lap feature event.
Battling with the likes of Ryan Bernal, Dominic Scelzi, and Mitchell Faccinto, Croft would keep his machine inside the Top-10 as the action was fierce on the high banked bull ring.
When the wild feature came to an end, Croft would close the busy weekend out with a ninth place finish.
