DJ Netto Set for Nor-Cal Posse Shootout

PETERSEN MEDIA: DJ Netto and the Tri-C Motorsports team are geared up for two nights of racing at Placerville Speedway for the inaugural running of the Nor-Cal Posse Shootout on Friday and Saturday night.

“Up until this season, Placerville Speedway had been a track that I just had not been able to figure out,” DJ Netto said. “This year, things have been different I have put together some pretty good runs as of late, so I am hoping to keep that going this weekend.”

Dating back to late August, Netto would race his way to a Top-10 finish with the Sprint Car Challenge Tour after lining up in the fifth row.

The week before the Sprint Car Challenge Tour event, Netto took part in a very exciting Mark Forni Classic. Lining up 14th in the 25-lap affair, Netto would have his elbows up as he carved his way forward to the third spot late in the race.

With a suspension part breaking, Netto would still hang on and cap off an impressive run with a fifth place finish.

“There has been a few occasions that we have been really fast at Placerville Speedway this year,” Netto added. “There is some really big money up for grabs this weekend, and it should be fun with a unique format so we are all really looking forward to it.”
