Winning a World of Outlaws race is no easy task. In fact, in 2016 only three non World of Outlaws drivers have found victory lane and our DOTW this week is one of those. Friday night at the Fremont Speedway, Chad Kemmenah ended his drought with ‘The Greatest Show on Dirt’ as he took the lead just after the halfway point, and fended off Donny Schatz to record the popular victory. What made Kemmenah’s win a little more sweet was the fact that his win was car owner, Rod Hunter’s first ever WoO win. Honorable mentions this week go to 17-year-old Michael Ing who had a career night with the KWS as he finished second, Geoff Ensign who charged from fifth to score his first feature event win of the year at the Petaluma Speedway, and Bryan Clauson who was nearly unstoppable in the Sprint Car during Indiana Midget Week.
