This weekend was full of winners that, if this was horse racing, played very formfully. Not many surprises locally or nationally for that matter for us to stand up and take notice until Tijeras, New Mexico’s Josh Hodges decided 15th starting spot was as good a spot as any to win his first CRA main event of his career from, doing the honors at Perris Auto Speedway and nailing Damion Gardner on the line at the checkers in a last corner pass that woke us all up after a steady stream of favorites won the entire weekend. For keeping the elbows up, the hammer down and never giving up until the job was finished, the 21 year old Hodges takes the honors as The Dream Team’s 6th Driver Of The Week in a week with no honorable mentions.
