PETERSEN MEDIA- For the second weekend in-a-row, Andy Forsberg and his C&M Motorsports team celebrated a win at the Petaluma Speedway as the Auburn, CA driver picked up his ninth win of the season on Saturday night.

“The track was a bit slick in the feature event and fortunately for me, my guys do a good job of giving me a car that I feel comfortable in when it does that, and we were able to get back into victory lane,” Andy Forsberg said.

Setting the standard in qualifications aboard his PitStopUSA/PT Shocks/Autism Awareness No. 7c entry, Forsberg would race his way from the second row of his heat race to finish in the second spot.

Running second in the dash that was used on this night, Forsberg would line up on the front row alongside Geoff Ensign. With Ensign getting the early jump, Forsberg would stalk his prey in the opening laps as he kept the race leader within striking distance.

As the race neared the halfway point, lapped traffic would come into play and Forsberg was able to make his move. Getting by the leader on the 11th lap, the red flag would fly a few laps later giving Forsberg a clear track for the final green flag run of the night.

When the action resumed, Forsberg would be too good out front. Hitting his marks during the final laps, Forsberg would handily go on to claim his ninth win of the season with the C&M Motorsports team.

“We have been really good all year long, and after a couple of tough nights, to come back and win two-in-a-row is pretty cool,” Forsberg added. “I have to thank everyone associated with this C&M Motorsports team for their hard work, and hopefully we can get No. 10 this week.”

The C&M Motorsports team would like to thank PitStopUSA, Autism Awareness, Pacific Highway Rentals, PT Shocks, Swartz Diesel, and Velocity Race Gear and all of their product sponsors for their continued support.
