Front End Issues Lead To End Of Soares’ Night In Tulare, CA

PETERSEN MEDIA- Front end issue late in the race on Saturday night led Jarrett Soares to spinning out, unfortunately collecting Bud Kaeding, and ending his night a few laps from the finish.

“First off I feel terrible that our misfortune collected Bud Kaeding, who is in the hard fought championship battle,” Soares said. “We had a part failure in our front end and it happened to be when Bud was trying to get by us, and he got collected. I have never felt so bad about a racing situation in my life.”

Still running a car that is banged up from a Santa Maria crash, Soares and his team fought set up issues all night as they looked to get Soares moving forward. Having a tough time trial and heat race showing, Soares would find himself in the B Main.

The B would get of to a wild start as Soares throttle would stick and he would shoot through the infield fortunately staying out of harms way and restarting the race. With some cars falling out in front of him, Soares was able to move into the 30-lap feature event where he lined up 22nd.

Minding his own business in the back of the pack, Soares was able to make some good laps, and get a good feel for his racecar on a very hooked up Thunderbowl Raceway. With just a few laps to go, Soares’ front axle would snap, and he would spin down the track and collect Bud Kaeding. The damage would end Soares night.

“It was just a tough night all around, and again to have that miscue involved Bud is horrible,” he added. “I have to thank all of my guys for their support, and I will look to these last couple KWS races to try and get ready for 2016.”

Jarrett and his Soares Motorsports team would like to thank American Tool & Mfg., C&H Vet Ent., Performance Powder Coating, Addicted Industries Clothing, A.R.T., Bailey Brothers Racing Engines, Excel Environmental, Simpson Race Products, McMahan Motorsports, CSI Shocks, and Brad Scadden Designs for their support.

ON TAP: Soares will be off this weekend before hitting the Keller Auto Speedway on 10/24 for the Cotton Classic.
