PETERSEN MEDIA: Garth Kasiner returned to racing action on Saturday night at Port City Raceway in Tulsa, OK where he would finish sixth in ‘A’ Class Action and 15th in ‘Outlaw’ Class competition.

Lining the West Hills Oil/CS9/Security Race Products entry up in the second row of his ‘A’ Class heat race, the Five Points, CA native would pick up a position as he finished third and moved into the feature event.

Lining up 10th in the ‘A’ Class Feature Event, Kasiner would do a very nice job as he continues to battle some of the top micro drivers around. Battling with the likes of Frank Flud in the feature event, Kasiner would do a great job of keeping rhythm despite a plethora of stoppages.

Getting up as high as third at one point during the feature, a restart would see a couple of competitors get runs on Kasiner as it was an absolute dogfight during green flag conditions. Holding his own as he still adapts to Port City Kasiner would finish sixth.

Outlaw Class action saw Kasiner kick his night off by lining the Roger Vogt’s Performance Auto and Air/Irritec P1 Drip Tape/Keizer Wheels machine up on the front row of his heat race.

Finishing third in his heat, Kasiner would move into the feature event where he would take the green flag from the third starting position. A rookie in the class, Kasiner would jump into third when the race came to life, but a yellow would waive off the initial start.

The second attempt at a start would see Kasiner get sideways down the front stretch and though he was able to straighten himself out, he would lose several spots in doing so though he would keep the green flag out.

Falling back to eighth, the caution would again waive and Kasiner would look to make up lost ground on the ensuing restart. Coming under fire for the eighth spot when the action picked back up, something seemed to go amiss on Kasiner’s entry and he would end up pulling the speedway as he would be credited with a 15th place finish.

Garth Kasiner would like to thank West Hills Oil, CS9, Security Race Products, Roger Vogt’s Performance Auto & Air, Irritec P1 Drip Tape, Keizer Wheels, Factory Kahne, Kasiner Farms Inc., B&B Ag Transport LLC, Superior, Soil Supplements, Simplot, and Fresno Equipment Company for their support.
