PETERSEN MEDIA- Kokomo, IN driver, Parker Price-Miller had a strong run going at the inaugural Junior Knepper 55 on Saturday night, however issues with his right-rear on the 41st lap relegated him to an 18th place finish.

“I was really pleased with how our night was going, and though we were well on our way to a good finish,” Price-Miller said. “Unfortunately things did not go our way and we were hampered with another ‘DNF’.”

Finishing third in his heat race, “The Law-Firm” would race his way to a win during his qualifier which would place him ninth overall in points, meaning he would grid the field from the fifth row for the 55-lap feature event.

A bit of déjà vu from the Indy Invitational would plague Price-Miller on the opening lap of the event as he would be involved in a six car stack up on the opening lap of the race. Fortunately on this night, he would not be hampered with any issues and would be able to continue on.

From the back of the pack, Price-Miller showed he ad a strong machine as he battled with Ricky Stenhouse, Jr as the duo both raced their way forward from the back of the pack after the early wreck.

Going anywhere he had to on the racy Southern Illinois Center surface, Price-Miller was able to work his way into the Top-10, as the race began it’s home stretch.

On the 41st lap however, things would take a turn for the worst for PPM as he would lose his right-rear, and his machine would spin to a stop. Climbing from his machine disappointed, Price-Miller’s night would come to a close.

“Hopefully this bad luck we had in Indiana and Illinois means we will have some good luck at the Chili Bowl,” Price-Miller said. “We have had some great speed in these two indoor races, and it has me really excited to get to Tulsa, OK in January.”

Price-Miller and his team would like to thank PPM Titanium Products, Indy Race Parts, Keizer Wheels, CSI Shocks, Select Equipment, Wesmar Racing Engines, Esslinger, and Triple X Race Components for their continued support.

2015 BY THE NUMBERS: Starts- 66, Wins- 7, Top 5’s- 17, Top 10’s- 23

ON TAP: Price-Miller will now change gears a bit as he will climb aboard the Hill’s Racing 410ci winged Sprint Car on January 1st to take part in the five-race Winter Heat Showdown that takes place at the Cocopah Speedway in Yuma, AZ.
