PETERSEN MEDIA- Back in action with the ASCS Red River Region, Harli White posted a fifth place finish on Saturday night during the series’ stop at the Super Bowl Speedway.

“It was great to finally have a strong finish, and hopefully we can start stringing more Top-Five’s together,” White said.

Lining up sixth in her heat race on Saturday night, White had a strong car, and had her elbows up, as she raced her Mesilla Valley Transportation/Jerry Tucker Roustabout/Lucas Oil backed No. 17w machine to a third place finish, putting her in the night’s redraw.

Finding herself with the five pill, the Lindsay, OK driver would line up in the third row of the feature event. When the race came to life, she had a very strong Charlie’s Trucking/PXP Racewear/All Star Café entry as she worked her way up as high as the third position.

As the laps clicked off, White’s machine started to tighten up on her, and as she worked to find a line that would work for her, she would ultimately slip back to finish fifth when the race came to a close.

“It was a bummer to lose positions like that at the end of the race, but in the big picture, it was a strong night for us, “ she noted.

Friday night, White was also in action with the series as they invaded the Creek County Speedway, but it was an early night for white, as she took a big tumble in her heat race, and caused severe damage to her machine, thus ending her night.

“I just want to thank everyone for their help to get us ready to go on Saturday night after our crash on Friday,” she added. “It was not the way we wanted to start our weekend, but I am sure glad we finished it well.”

Harli White Racing would like to thank Mesilla Valley Transportation, Jerry Tucker Roustabout, Lucas Oil, Charlie’s Trucking, PXP Racewear, All Star Cafe, Boyd’s Racing Engines, Race Chic, Crash Enterprises, Outlaw Wings, Super Flow Testers, Simpson, Classic Seagulls UK, Eagle Motorsports, and the Shriners Hospital For Children Gavelston for their support during the 2014 season.

2015 BY THE NUMBERS: Starts-10, Wins-0, Top 5’s-1, Top 10’s-1.

ON TAP: White is hoping to hit Waco, TX and Willis, TX this weekend but with rain in the forecast, she is unsure of her exact plan at this time.
