Henry Fourth at Stockton Dirt Track

PETERSEN MEDIA: Finishing fourth a week ago at the Johnny Key Classic, Kalib Henry and McColloch Motorsports were back in action again on Saturday night as they checked in at the Stockton Dirt Track where Henry would capture another fourth-place finish for the team.

“Our last trip to Stockton in July was rough, so to come out and have a really solid night felt good,” Kalib Henry said. “We were quick time in time trials, and had a podium run going until I made a mistake late while working through traffic.”

With Nor*Cal fires changing schedules up, Henry and McColloch Motorsports found themselves at the Stockton Dirt Track on Saturday night as the 360ci division shared the stage with the King of the West Series who was in the penultimate night of their Speedweek.

Kicking the night off on a high note, Henry timed the McColloch RV Repair/Express Sewer and Drain/Davis Truck Painting backed No. 17 machine in fastest in qualifying time trials.

Lining up in the second row of his heat race, Henry would continue to show speed on the 4/10 mile facility as he would finish in the third position and garner a spot in the nightly redraw. Finding himself with the three, the Mather, CA wheelman would grid the field from the second row for the feature event.

Settling into the third position as the race came to life, Henry would find himself chasing after the likes of Shane Golobic and Dominic Scelzi as they quickly reached the back of the field.

With traffic now in play on the fast-moving feature event, Henry would soon feel pressure from Michael Faccinto. In the closing laps, a slight bobble in traffic would allow Faccinto to get by as Henry slipped back to fourth.

Doing all he could to get back on the podium, Henry would end his night with a fourth-place finish.

“Big thanks to Nick, Kerry, and everyone that helps us out on this No. 17 car,” Kalib Henry said. “It has been a really strong couple of weeks, and I can’t wait to get back in it again soon.”

McColloch Motorsports would like to thank McColloch’s RV Repair, Express Sewer and Drain, Davis Truck Painting, Driven Homes, Inc., ART Speed Equipment, RE Technologies, Hansen Machine, ADCO Driveline, and Gary Morgan Graphics for their continued support.

BY THE NUMBERS: Starts: 11, Wins: 0, Top-5’s: 4, Top-10’s- 6

ON TAP: McColloch Motorsports’ next event with Henry is TBD at this time.
