Madsen To Pilot Main Motorsports Entry During 360 Nationals and Forbrook Motorsports Car During 'The One and Only
PETERSEN MEDIA: Continuing to fill his 2020 schedule, Ian Madsen is pleased to announce that he will pilot a second Main Motorsports entry at this weekend’s 360 Nationals at Knoxville Raceway, and be a teammate to Tim Kaeding, before returning to the seat of Guy Forbrook’s No. 5 for ‘The One and Only’.
“To be able to run for the Main’s, is really special for me,” Ian Madsen said. “Last year it was pretty tough to lose a close friend in Kyle Main, so to run in is honor at my home track where we hung out a lot is really cool, and I am really hoping to put this car in victory lane where it belongs.”
Madsen comes into this weekend’s event fresh off of a couple of strong 410ci runs at the facility with Guy Forbook. Picking up a fourth-place finish back on the 25th, Madsen just recently finished ninth with the All Stars on Saturday night after taking the green flag 15th.
Madsen has been strong with Forbrook in their first two weekends together, and Sunday night put on quite the charge from 12th to finish fourth during the re-opening of Huset’s Speedway.
“The last couple weeks I have felt really comfortable with Guy Forbrook, and we have been pretty fast,” Madsen added. “With a couple of good finishes to our credit, I am excited to hop into the Main’s car this weekend and see what we can do in the 360 Nationals, before teaming back up with Guy during the 410 event. Very thankful to have two great opportunities."
