Justin Sanders and Dale Miller Motorsports Back in Victory Lane

PETERSEN MEDIA- After a couple of starts together ironing out some issues, Justin Sanders and Dale Miller Motorsports have proved to be quite the combination as the Sanders was able to put the potent No. 4SA machine back in victory lane for the second time in 2018.

“Dale Miller and his team really do a great job and gave me another great car on Saturday night,” Justin Sanders said. “It is pretty cool to get in their car and get them back in victory lane and become the first repeat winners at the track this year in only our fourth start together.”

Sanders would kick Saturday night off by timing the Thompson’s Auto/RedHawk Casino/Dale Miller Septic, Inc. backed entry in fourth fastest amongst the 20 cars that checked in for weekly point racing action.

Lining up in the second row of his heat race, the Aromas, CA driver would race his way to a third place finish and solidify himself a spot in the redraw. Having lady luck on his side, Sanders would find himself with the one pill, which meant he would lead the field to green for the 25-lap feature event.

When the 25-lap feature event came to life, Sanders would slip back to second as outside front row starter, Kalib Henry, was able to beat him into turn one. On a freshly manicured racing surface that saw two distinct grooves for the feature, Sanders would use the high side to race around Henry only to see the caution fly and negate his efforts.

Back underway in green flag conditions, Sanders would execute the same move on the restart as he used the cushion to sail around Henry off of turn two and put the Dale Miller Motorsports entry out front. A couple of scattered cautions would put the field on Sanders’ bumper, but on this night the kid from Aromas, CA would simply be too good as he went on to capture the second win of the season for Dale Miller Motorsports and his 10th overall win in 2018.

“It was a great night from start to finish, and I really have to thank Dale and Tara Miller for this great opportunity to run for them a handful of nights,” Sanders added. “It has been great so far, and hopefully we can get a couple more before the season is over.”

The Dale Miller Motorsports team would like to thank Thompson’s Auto, RedHawk Casino,  Dale Miller Septic, Inc, El Dorado Hills Landscaping, Anrak Corporation, Frank’s Body Shop, Wion’s Powder Coating, Smith Titanium, King Racing Products, A.R.T. Speed Equipment, Motion Media Wraps, Hangtown Sheet Metal and Fabrication, and Vortex Wings for their support.
