PETERSEN MEDIA- Justin Sanders and Dale Miller Motorsports have been tough to beat on any given night the duo shows up to race together. Saturday night during the final points race at Placerville Speedway, Sanders picked up his 14th win of the 2018 season and fourth aboard the No. 4SA entry as he led from wire to wire.
“We got off to a slow start earlier this season, but with all the bugs ironed out this car has been a blast to driver and I have to thank Dale and Tara Miller for this opportunity,” Sanders said.
With 25 cars on hand, Sanders would jumpstart the night by timing the Thompson’s Auto/RedHawk Casino/Dale Miller Septic, Inc. backed No. 4SA machine in 10th quickest in time trials.
With the time trial effort, Sanders would line up on the front row of his heat race and with his win he would move into the redraw where the one pill put him on the front row to start the 25-lap feature event.
Taking a liking to the high, scary side of the speedway, the Aromas, CA pilot would find himself in quite a tussle with Andy Forsberg, Sean Becker, and eventually Justyn Cox.
With Forsberg and Becker each having issues that forced them off the speedway, Sanders would then need to keep Cox at bay. Continuing to pound the cushion, Sanders would find himself first at the finish line as the win marked the fourth for him aboard the potent No. 4SA and 14th overall in 2018.
“We were really good all night long, and had some fun battling with Forsberg and Becker,” Sanders added. “Again, I really want to thank everyone associated with the Dale Miller Motorsports team for all they do for me.”
