Justin Sanders Charges To Fourth In M&S Racing Debut

PETERSEN MEDIA: Saturday night at the Placerville Speedway, Justin Sanders made his debut with the M&S Racing team. Though the start of the night was eventful at times, Sanders and company were able to turn in a strong performance when it counted as the Watsonville, CA driver charged from 14th to finish fourth.
“It was our first night out together, and we had pretty good speed right away,” Sanders said. “We had a part failure early and it took some work to get it sorted out, and we did thanks to a massive effort from a couple of different teams.”
After timing the M&S Racing Engines/Browning Reserve Group/ATC Assessment Collection Group backed No. 27 in 14th fastest, Sanders and company would experience rear-end failure and they would have their work cut out for them.
Tracking down the necessary parts from a few teams, Sanders and company would miss their heat race, but would make the call for the B main event. Lining up on the outside front row for the B, Sanders would jump into the lead, and not look back as he picked up the win, and transferred into the feature event.
Lining up in the seventh row of the regularly scheduled 25-lap feature event, stoppages would force officials to cut five-laps of the race dropping it to a 20-lap affair. On a very racy surface, Sanders was strong from the back of the pack.
In dense Placerville traffic, Sanders would simply go where he could find open real estate, as he worked his way toward the Top-Five. In the race’s closing laps, Sanders would work into the fourth spot as he pressured Ryan Bernal and Chase Madgic. Running out of laps, Sanders would score a fourth place finish.
“It was eventful to say the least, but I really have to thank everyone associated with the M&S Racing team for giving me a chance to race for them, and working so hard on Saturday night,” Sanders added. “I am looking forward to getting back in their car later this summer.”
The M&S Racing team would like to thank M&S Racing Engines, Browning Reserve Group, ATC Assessment Collection Group, The Saturday HOA Brunch, and Angius & Terry LLP for there continued support.
