Kaeding Has Elbows Up In Stockton, CA

PETERSEN MEDIA- Continuing to challenge the World of Outlaws in his home state of California, Tim Kaeding had his elbows up all weekend long at the Stockton Dirt Track as he charged his way to a pair of Top-10 finishes with the “Greatest Show on Dirt”.

“We had a really fast car both nights, but I couldn’t grab the heat race wins we needed, and that made things a little difficult,” Kaeding said.

Saturday night during the FVP Western Spring Shootout Opener, the San Jose, CA driver timed the Roth Enterprises/HR Livestock Transportation/3H Cattle machine in 10th fastest. Lining up on the front row of his heat race, Kaeding could not get the jump, and ultimately ran second to Craig Dollansky.

Rolling off for the feature event in the 13th position, Kaeding was working his way forward on the slick Stockton surface as he abused the cushion. Around the halfway point, Kaeding hit the cushion wrong and spun his machine out, resulting in him tagging the rear of the field.

In electrifying Tim Kaeding fashion, he did not let the spin hinder him, as he continued to thrill the crowd as he worked his way back through the field. When the checkered flag flew on the event, Kaeding had worked his way back up to an eighth place finish.

Sunday night saw the team back in action at the Stockton Dirt Track, and on this night, Kaeding would get his night started by timing the No.83jr machine in 15th fastest, before finishing second in his heat to his Roth motorsports teammate, David Gravel.

Lining up 15th in the feature event, Kaeding did not let the rubber being laid down on the track affect him as he again used the high side to his advantage. Working his way forward, Kaeding took advantage of most using the bottom of the speedway, as he was able to gain ground away from the rubber.

In the closing laps, Kaeding was able to make a late surge, and work his way up to a sixth place finish, earning KSE Hard Charger honors for the race.

“It was a great weekend for this team,” Kaeding added. “The driver needed to make it happen in heat races on both nights, but for having to start behind the dash, and go to the back one night, I am happy with our finishes. It’s an honor to drive for Dennis and Teresa Roth, and I am hoping we can win a couple more races while the Outlaws are in town.”

The Roth Motorsports team would like to thank Roth Enterprises, HR Livestock Transportation, 3H Cattle,  Mobil1, FK Rod Ends, Weld Wheels, Brown and Miller Racing Solutions, Kent Performance, Kaeding Performance, KW Suspension, and Astro Titanium for their support in 2015.
