Kasiner Scores 11th Win of Season
PETERSEN MEDIA: In action for two nights of racing in Visalia, CA and Lemoore, CA, Garth Kasiner continued his strong 2017 season as he scored his 11th win of the year by way of his victory at Plaza Park Raceway on Friday night.
Timing in second quickest in qualifying time trials, the Five Points, CA pilot would pick up a second place finish in his heat race aboard the West Hills Oil/CS9/Security Race Products backed No. 21G entry.
Lining up in the second row of the feature event, Kasiner would get off to a nice start as he would quickly jump up into the third position where he would run for a couple of circuits.
Moving the Irritec P1 Drip Tape/Keizer Wheels/FK machine into second on the fourth lap, Kasiner would continue his pursuit of the top spot as he took over the race lead on the seventh circuit.
Out in front, Kasiner flexed his muscle as he was very strong in front of the field. Leading the final 19-laps, Kasiner would successfully pick up his 11th win of the season.
Saturday night the team would travel to nearby Lemoore Raceway for another night of action. Kasiner would continue his assault on the restricted 600 class as he kicked the night off with a fourth quick effort in time trials.
Finishing second in his heat race, the young wheelman would line up in the second row for the 25-lap feature event. From the second row, Kasiner did all he could to get going forward. Just seemingly stuck in the fourth spot, Kasiner would hang on and close his night out with a fourth place finish.
