PETERSEN MEDIA: Another busy weekend in Oklahoma saw Garth Kasiner pick up third place finishes in ‘A’ Class action at both Port City and Creek County, and amidst a good run in ‘Outlaw’ Class action at Port City an incident would cause him to retire early.

Saturday night at Port City Raceway, Kasiner would line the West Hills Oil/CS9/SRP backed No. 21G up in the second row of his heat race. Make quick work of the field, the California native would surge to the front where he would pick up the win and move into the feature event.

Finding himself in the seventh starting position for the feature, Kasiner would continue to run well as he had a very strong entry underneath him. Continuing to battle with a new field of drivers and cars in Oklahoma, Kasiner would have a great run as he worked his way around Port City Raceway and finished third in the ‘A’ Class on this night.

Also in action with the ‘Outlaw’ Class, Kasiner would line the Roger Vogt’s Performance Auto and Air/Irritec P1 Drip Tape/Keizer wheels entry up on the front row of heat three.

Battling with some of the best competition around in his heat, the youngster would slip back and finish sixth which put him in the 18th starting position for the feature event.

Making some changes to his car before the feature event, they would look to be the right direction for Kasiner but a bumper issue would end Kasiner’s night early.

Heading to Creek County Speedway on Sunday for some ‘A’ Class action, Kasiner would line up on the front row of his heat race. Racing his way to the win, Kasiner would work his way into the feature event where he found himself fifth on the starting grid.

Battling with the likes of Chase Randall and Harley Hollan, Kasiner would spend his night battling inside the Top-Five. Able to clear Randall, Kasiner took over the third position as he then chased after Holland and Frank Flud.

When the checkered flag flew on the Sunday feature, Kasiner closed his weekend with his second podium fiish.

Garth Kasiner would like to thank West Hills Oil, CS9, Security Race Products, Roger Vogt’s Performance Auto & Air, Irritec P1 Drip Tape, Keizer Wheels, Factory Kahne, Kasiner Farms Inc., B&B Ag Transport LLC, Superior, Soil Supplements, Simplot, and Fresno Equipment Company for their support.
