Kyle Offill To Finish 2020 Season Off in Midwest

PETERSEN MEDIA: As California’s end of the year schedules thinning out due to state mandates, Kyle Offill and the Country Builders Construction team have made the decision to remain in the Midwest and run through the end of October to close out the 2020 campaign.

“I am super excited for the opportunity to stay out in the Midwest longer than we initially planned,” Kyle Offill said. “It has been a huge learning opportunity for myself both racing, as well as on the car in general as I have been fortunate to work with the McCarl family.”

With many of the marquee Fall events getting postponed and cancelled in Offill’s native California, a slew of options in the Midwest led the Offill family to this decision.

Offill returned to action on Saturday night at I-80 Speedway for the Fall Brawl where he had a really good night going.

Finishing second in his heat race, and fourth in his qualifier, the Tracy, CA driver lined the Country Builders/Ochoco West/Brown and Miller backed No. 88 machine up in the 12th starting position.

When the race came to life, Offill was doing a great job at a track he had never seen before as he quickly got himself up into the Top-10 and soon was making a bid for position inside the Top-5.

As he ran in sixth, Offill would begin pressuring a competitor for fifth when he would get stuck in the slick and it would spin his car into the inside wall ending his night early.

“Saturday night was a lot of fun,” Offill added. “I have to thank Brandon Ikenberry, and Alex Johnson for going racing with us and giving me a good car.”

Moving forward on this end of the year excursion, Offill is excited to welcome back Crew Chief, Dillon Paddock, who stepped away due to other obligations back in August.

“I am really excited to get Dillon Paddock back starting this week,” Offill noted. “It will be great to get our whole program back on track after these last few weeks. I do also want to thank everyone that has stepped up and helped out in his absence, we wouldn’t have been able to race with their help.”

Kyle Offill would like to thank Country Builders, Ochoco West, Brown and Miller, Maas Bros., Reliable Lumber, Boise Cascade, Offill Family Farms, Weld Wheels, HRP, FK Shocks, Arai America Helmets, Hinchman Racewear, Maxim Chassis, and B. Scadden Design for their continued support.

BY THE NUMBERS: Races: 24, Wins: 1, Top 5’s: 2, Top 10’s: 6

ON TAP: Offill is slated to make his Huset’s Speedway debut this weekend.
