Larimer Charges From 9th to Win Yamaha Perpetual Trophy in Red Bluff, CA

PETERSEN MEDIA- Amidst a dominant winter in Red Bluff, CA, Aiden Larimer grew his resume a little bit more on Saturday night as the Merced, CA product charged from ninth to claim his eighth win of the season and earn the Yamaha Perpetual Trophy.

With 22 cars checked into the Tehama County Fairgrounds, Larimer got his night started by timing his Cornaggia Farms/Stone Motorsports/Mark Sutton Construction backed No. 5 machine in sixth quickest overall in qualifying time trials.

Lining up on the pole of the Dash, Larimer got the winning kicked off, as he was able to wire the field and score the win.

Gridding the field from the third row in his heat race, the youngster from Merced, CA would work his way up to a third place finish at the checkered flag but would be forced into the ‘B’ Main on this night.

Able to win the semi from the second row, Larimer advanced to the feature event where he would have his work cut out for himself as he took the green flag from the ninth starting spot.

Mired deep in the field, Larimer would showcase his smooth driving style as he carved his way forward through the pack. Picking off cars at will, Larimer would soon find himself in striking distance for the race lead.

Surging to the top spot, Larimer would not relinquish the lead, as he was able to pull away and pick up his eighth win of the season and score the Yamaha Perpetual Trophy for his efforts.

Larimer would like to thank Cornaggia Farms, Stone Motorsports, Great Grandma and Grandpa Rocha, Mark Sutton Construction, Pro Vinyl Graphics, Van Lare Steering Repair, D&L Pump, Guthrie Racing, Uncle Ron, Larimer Family, Margie, Nana and Papa Motorsports, T&T Racing, Doug Lockwood, De Martini Bartending, Pugliese Family, Auntie Mary Motorsports, Nana and Papa, Orozco Gates, Grandma Estell, B’s Racing, Burris Tires, and Petersen Media for their support this season.
