Larimer Parks in Victory Lane in Red Bluff, CA
PETERSEN MEDIA- Getting the 2017/2018 season underway in Red Bluff, CA on Saturday night, Aiden Larimer would get the season off to a great start as he parked his machine in victory lane.
Following a successful test session on Friday night, Larimer got things off to a good start on Saturday night as he timed the Cornaggia Farms/Mark Sutton Construction/Pro Vinyl Graphics machine in fifth quickest of 24 Box Stocks entered in the pit area.
From this point on it was all about wins for the youngster from Merced, CA. Larimer would flex his muscles in his heat race as he would grid the field from the third row. Working around the tight confines of the indoor facility, Larimer would work his way to the front and pick up the win.
Lining up on the front row of the Dash, the Larimer Family/T&T Racing/De Martini Bartending No. 5 looked extremely strong out front as he was able to lead the way to the checkered and pocket the win.
Gridding the field from the third row for the feature event based on his qualifying time, Larimer would continue run well on this night as he raced into the third position during the early stages of the race.
Continuing to hold strong in third, Larimer proved to be in the right place and the right time as the race came to a close. With the white flag in the air, the two leaders would run each other extremely hard, and as this took place Larimer used a run and passed them both coming to the checkered flag to pick up the win.
