Limited Advance Tickets For World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series Event At Ocean Speedway Sti

(PETERSEN MEDIA- Aptos, CA)- As the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series begin their California invasion this week, tickets for the series’ return to the Ocean Speedway on April 1st are still available in limited quantity.

“We are extremely pleased with how fans have reacted to the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series’ return to the Ocean Speedway,” John Prentice Track Promoter said. “We want to encourage anyone interested in attending to head over and order their tickets ASAP, as orders continue to come in.”

The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series have been off to an extremely successful start to the 2016 season, and it is California native, Brad Sweet currently leading the way with three wins thus far in the season and has jumped out to an early 44 point lead with the series.

Driving for the California based Roth Motorsports, Brownsburg, IN driver Joey Saldana sits second in the standings after picking up his first series win last week, with defending series champion, Donny Schatz sitting third with two wins to his credit.

These three drivers will be on hand during the April 1st Ocean Outlaw Showdown presented by Budweiser along with Bixby, OK driver, Shane Stewart, Owasso, OK native, Daryn Pittman,  Paul McMahan who hails from Nashville, TN by way of Elk Grove, CA, and a host of other top drivers in the country mixed with a strong contingent of local California stars.

The April 1st event at the Ocean Speedway marks the first time the series has visited the ¼ mile bullring located on the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds. Back in 2008, it was “The King of the Outlaws”, Steve Kinser, outduelling fellow Hall of Fame driver, Jac Haudenchild, to grab the win in what was a very memorable race at the Ocean Speedway. Other drivers to win with the World of Outlaws at the Ocean Speedway include Brad Furr in 2002, Andy Hillenburg in 2001, and Joey Saldana in 2000.
