PETERSEN MEDIA: As anticipation and hype continues to build for this weekend’s NorCal Posse Shootout presented by Autism Awareness, the Russell Motorsports, Inc. staff would like to thank all of the great people that have stepped up to help form this race into a two-day event.
“It is really humbling to see the continued support for this two-day event,” said Scott and Kami Russell. “This being our first year promoting the Placerville Speedway, to see this kind of outpour for our final event of the season is really special and we simply can’t thank everyone enough for what they have done.”
While a handful of sponsors of this event having been released via Social Media, there are many behind the scenes that have stepped up to make this event possible.
Led by Autism Awareness, Fred Morris Construction, the El Dorado County Fair Association, Geico, and Capitol Ace Hardware may companies have stepped forward to show their support of local dirt track racing.
“We have a great group of partners that supported us all year at the track, and with their help as well as the help of some new companies, it has been possible to put together a really exciting weekend,” the Russell’s added.
Additional companies that have come on board include ARP Enterprises, Handy’s Water Service, Carol Russell Bookkepping, Absolute Auto Glass, PAPE Machinery, Elk Grove Ford, CTL Logging, Arnolds for Awards, Inc., Nail-It Roofing, Econo Lube, Brad Sweet Racing, Veerkamp Engineering, Les Schwab Tire Co. Varozza Bail Bonds, Chris Kenner of Security Race Products, Sellers Race Wings, Diversified Machine, Smith Precision Products, Keizer Wheels, Gary Morgan Graphics, and Dale Miller Plumbing and Septic.
There have also been some race families that have came forward including Kevin an Kim Urton with their Past Champion’s Hard Charger Challenge, Rachel and Rich Tiner with their immense help with the Friday Night Post Race Party, as well as Billy and Misty Muller for added contingency prizes, and the Rupley family who also added in a bonus for each night.

The action kicks off on Friday October 14th with the fire breathing winged 360’s, Spec Sprints, and Dwarf Cars, and continues on Saturday the 15th with 360’s and Dwarf Cars.
Following the opening night festivities, fans are encouraged to head to the Forni Building off of turns one and two and take part in the post race Taco Feed with Live music featuring The Blokes, a classic rock band with a bluesy flavor, until 2am.
Tacos, beer, and soft drinks will be available for purchase with Coors Banquet Beer and Coors Light on sale for Placerville Speedway Happy Hour pricing.
Camping for this event is available, and fans and teams are encouraged to call the office at 530-621-5860 ASAP to reserve their spot.
Friday night tickets will be available starting at just $6 for kids, while juniors, seniors, and Military will be admitted for $15, and adult tickets will be $20. Saturday night kids tickets will again be $6, while juniors, seniors, and Military will be $18, and adults will be $22. Both nights children five and under will be admitted for free.
