PETERSEN MEDIA- Running the F&F Racing No. x1 machine in Saturday night’s Dave Bradway Jr. Memorial, Mason Moore would see mechanical issues sideline him in what was a wild feature event.

“It was really cool to be in the Bradway car at the Bradway Memorial, but unfortunately we had issues knock us out of the race,” Moore said. “It was a wild night, and I am lucky we were able to roll our car back into the trailer.”

Taking on the King of the West Series during Saturday’s 27th Annual Dave Bradway Memorial, Moore would time the Geico Local Office/Econo Lube-n-Tune & Brakes/Twisted Team backed No. x1 sprinter in 13th fastest amongst the 37 cars that assembled in the pit area.

Lining up on the front row of his heat race, Moore would get out to the early lead though he would soon feel pressure from Rico Abreu. Keeping Abreu at bay, Moore would hang on to the win and move on to both the feature event and the night’s six-lap Dash.

With the inversion placing the Levin’s Auto Supply/Garth Moore Insurance/LRB Race Products machine in the fifth row of the Dash, Moore would pick up a couple of spots as a seventh place finish put him in the fourth row for the feature event.

The race would get off to a tough start as stoppages were more normal that green flag laps. Running well inside the Top-10 in the early goings of the 40-lap affair. On the 14th lap, Moore would notice something wrong with the steering in the F&F Racing entry, and would bring his machine to a stop.

Going to the work area, Moore would not make the call, and his night would come to an end as he was credited with a 17th place finish.

“We had a good night going until the feature, and I wanted to badly to have a good run at this race in this car,” Moore said. “Thanks to everyone who made this whole deal possible.”

Moore would like to thank Geico, Econo Lube-n-Tune and Brakes, Twisted Tea, Levin’s Auto Supply, Garth Moore Insurance, LRB Race Products, A.R.T. Speed Equipment, Sierra Single Ply, Lucas Oil, RPI, and Encore Catering for their support in 2017.
