One of the biggest events of the weekend was the Bob Weikert Memorial. With Sunday rain pushing the feature to a Monday afternoon show, Lucas Wolfe showed with the way with his KSE Racing Products. Running the ragged edge on a slicked off speedway, Wolfe would steal the show with just a handful of laps remaining in the race.
Monday night in Lawrenceburg, IN, Shane Stewart would go toe-to-toe with team co-owner Kyle Larson. In the end, it was Stewart leading a KSE Gen2 podium sweep as he grabbed his second win of the year ahead of Larson and Donny Schatz.
During the ‘Greatest Show on Dirt’s’ traditional Friday night stop at Charlotte Dirt Track, Logan Schuchart used his KSE Racing Products to pick up another series win as he used some late race magic to do so.
Terry McCarl won at Lee County Speedway, Bill Balog bested the IRA field at ABC Raceway, Tim Shaffer topped FAST action at Fremont Speedway, while Derek Hagar and Tim Crawley each won with the USCS.
Brooke Tatnell was victorious at Eagle Valley, while Jonathan Cornell and Sam Hafertepe each used KSE Racing Products to score ASCS Regional action. Andy Forsberg and Kyle Hirst each grabbed wins with the Civil War Series, while Mitch Faccinto won with the SCCT in Stockton, CA.
