PETERSEN MEDIA- With the World of Outlaws Sprint California Swing now done and complete, Mitchell Faccinto and Tarlton Motorsports now shift their attention to Saturday’s King of the West season opener that will take place at the Stockton Dirt Track.
“Even though we didn’t have the best results during the Outlaws swing, I think we learned a lot of things, I was able to race, and as a team we all got more comfortable with our cars and our changes,” Mitchell Faccinto said. “We have speed, and as long as we can time in well, we should have a good season ahead.”
The final two World of Outlaws races of the swing saw Faccinto and Tarlton Motorsports team travel to Bakersfield, CA and Lake Perris, CA where Faccinto was able to work his way into both feature events.
Friday night Faccinto would finish 21st in what was his first ever appearance to the Oildale, CA facility, and Saturday night the Hanford, CA driver would finish 15th on the ½ mile Perris Auto Speedway located in Southern California.
With the three-week Outlaw swing now in the books, attention will shift to the 2022 King of the West slate, where the Tarlton Motorsports team will set out and chase after its third series championship in what will be the most grueling schedule for the series in some time.
“Tom and Tommy Tarlton provide us with the best equipment, and as our season gets going, I know Drew Warner, Shane Watts, and I will find more speed and put this team in position to pick up more feature event wins.”
