Parker Price-Miller and Agee Motorsports Continue To Run Well

PETERSEN MEDIA- Fresh off of a strong showing with the World of Outlaws, Parker Price-Miller and his Agee Motorsports team continued to run well over a three race weekend as the freshly minted 18-year-old driver picked up two second place finishes and an eighth place finish.

“We had a really good car all weekend long, and I can’t thank everyone involved with this team for all they do,” Price-Miller said. “We led early on Friday and as the rubber went down, second place had nothing to lose and was able to get by us, and on Sunday night we came on strong but just ran out of laps.”

Taking on the All Star Circuit of Champions on Friday night at the Lincoln Fairgrounds, ‘The Law Firm’ got off to an exceptional start as he stabled a new all time track record at the track before finishing fourth in his heat race.

Winning the dash, the Kokomo, IN driver would lead the field to green and get off to a nice start as he led early. On an extremely slick racing surface, Price-Miller would continue to lead though he had Sheldon Haudenschild breathing down his neck.

With rubber going down on the speedway the caution flag would fly on the 13th lap.  The ensuing restart would see Haudenschild get out of the rubber to make a run for the lead, and he would complete the pass and put Price-Miller’s FlyingAG/Royal Life Centers/360 Yield Center entry in the second spot. Staying in the rubber for the rest of the race, Price-Miller would close his night out with a second place finish.

Following the All Stars to the Wilmot Raceway on Saturday night, Price-Miller would again show speed early as he timed in second fastest and finished third in his heat race after lining up in the sixth starting spot.

Lining up third in the feature event by way of his third place finish in the night’s Dash, Price-Miller would struggle with the track conditions as he slowly faded back inside the Top-10. Doing what he could to hang on, Price-Miller would end up finishing in the eighth spot.

Sunday night saw a busy weekend come to an end as the team made the trip to the Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin as they went to work with the IRA.

Fighting a tight car in qualifying time trials, Price-Miller would time the Pfister/Encirca/Valvoline backed entry in 11th fastest. Finishing fifth in his heat race, the Kokomo High senior would line up 13th in the feature event, but would have all eyes on him once the race came to life.

Wherever there was open real estate, Price-Miller would use it as he worked his way forward. Simply going anywhere he needed to, Price-Miller could go forward, and did so in a hurry as he carved his way through traffic to the crowd’s approval.

With two laps to go, Price-Miller would move into the second spot and rapidly close in on the leader as he was a threat for some late race heroics. Getting close to the leader on the final lap, Price-Miller would simply run out of time as he would settle for second at the finish.

“Sunday night was a blast,” Price-Miller added. “We struggled in time trials and in the heat race, but we made some wholesale changes for the feature and were no doubt the car to beat. We are getting better and better each time out, and I am looking forward to the upcoming races we have scheduled.”

Price-Miller and his team would like to thank FlyingAG, Royal Life Centers, 360 Yield Center, Pfister, Encirca, Valvoline, Townline Variety, Indy Race Parts, and Agee Farms for their support in 2016
