PETERSEN MEDIA- Nearly scoring his first ever World of Outlaws win at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, IN one year ago, Parker Price-Miller would not be denied this year as the Kokomo, IN driver turned in a brilliant performance on Sunday night and scored his first career win with the series.

“I still can’t believe it,” Price-Miller said. “It just doesn’t seem real. We got our butts kicked at the start of the season with the Outlaws, but we knew it would make us better as the season went on and here we are.”

Timing the 360 Yield/DuPont/Pioneer backed No. 2 machine in fifth fastest in qualifying time trials, Price-Miller would run second in his heat race to Brady Bacon.

Moving into the Craftsman Club Dash, PPM would line up in the fifth starting position before recording a fourth place finish and lining up in the second row of the 40-lap feature event.

When the race went green, PPM would take over the third spot as he began chasing after the lead duo of Sheldon Haudenschild and David Gravel. Running in the third spot, Price-Miller would drive around Gravel on the 16th lap to overtake the second spot, and on the 18th lap he would find himself in the race lead after Haudenschild endured some misfortune.

Getting off to a good start on the ensuring restart, PPM went back to what he was doing on the cushion as he looked to keep a red hot David Gravel at bay. With Gravel closing in on PPM amidst heavy traffic in the closing laps, Price-Miller continued to push hard until he took the checkered flag as a first time World of Outlaws feature event winner.

“When you’re out front in one of these races and you have never won, you push it as hard as you can, and that’s just what I did,” PPM added. “It is so cool to win with a couple of my good friends on our team, and I thank them and everyone who supports us for all they do.”

On top of a monumental win with the World of Outlaws, PPM also had a goo weekend with MOWA, as he ran second at Bloomington Speedway on Friday night, and won with the series at Tri-State Speedway on Saturday.

Price-Miller and his team would like to thank 360 Yield, Dupont. Pioneer, FlyingAG, Agee Farms, Encirca, Chalk Stix, Bell Helmets, and PPM Titanium for their support in 2017.

ON TAP: Parker Price-Miller will be in action with the All Star Circuit of Champions this weekend as he will be at Kokomo Speedway Friday, Wilmot Raceway Saturday, and Angell Park Speedway Sunday. All three events will be streamed LIVE on TheCushion.Com.
