PETERSEN MEDIA- Parker Price-Miller had an up and down week that saw the Kokomo, IN driver persevere and end his week with a charge through the field Fremont Speedway to finish in the second spot.

“We started the week out with the intentions of running most of Ohio Speedweek, but after a lackluster performance, we made the decision to head back to the shop and regroup,” Price-Miller said. “I got into a pretty violent crash on Friday, but was able to come back Saturday night and end our week on a high note with a second place finish.”

Checking in at Wayne County on Monday night, Price-Miller would time the FlyingAG/Royal Life Centers/360 Yield Center backed No. 2 machine in second fastest in his group before finishing fifth in his heat race.

Lining up in the 20th spot of the feature event on an extremely slick racing surface, Price-Miller wasn’t able to do much as visibility was difficult on this night. Finishing in the 17th spot, Price-Miller made the decision to skip the next few nights and get back at it on Friday.

Putting in some long hours at the shop, Price-Miller and company returned to Lima, OH on Friday night, where ‘The Law Firm’ would get off to a great starting by timing in fourth fastest in his group.

From the pole of his heat race, Price-Miller would get out to the early lead, but would soon fall into the second spot as Dale Blaney got by him. Holding his own in the second spot, and errant pass attempt sent PPM into the wall hard and rung his bell a little.

With his car severely damaged, Price-Miller’s night would be over, though he would be medically cleared to race after being checked out.

Putting a new car together for Saturday night, PPM and team checked in at the Fremont Speedway. Timing in fourth fastest overall, Price-Miller would turn in a strong showing in his heat race as he would pick up the win from the sixth starting spot.

Lining up in the third row of the 40-lap feature event, Price-Miller worked his way up to the third spot in the first few laps only to bicycle on the 11th lap and end up with a flat tire.

Making repairs, Price-Miller would come from the back of the pack in thrilling fashion as he carved his way through the field. Passing cars lap after lap, Price-Miller would move into the second spot in the race’s closing stages.

Closing in on the leader, Price-Miller would just come up short of picking up the win, as he would settle for second.

“I really have to thank all of the guys for all of their hard work,” Price-Miller said. “We got going on Saturday night and would have love to grab a win, but it was a blast coming through the field.”

Price-Miller and his team would like to thank FlyingAG, Royal Life Centers, 360 Yield Center, Pfister, Encirca, Valvoline, Townline Variety, Indy Race Parts, and Agee Farms for their support in 2016

2016 BY THE NUMBERS: Starts- 25, Wins- 1, Top 5’s- 6, Top 10’s- 7
