PETERSEN MEDIA- Traveling to the East Coast with the All Star Circuit of Champions, Park Price Miller’s weekend was highlighted by a Thursday night Top-10 at the Canandaigua Speedway.
“We had a good car on Thursday night, but I feel back early in the night and was able to rebound to score a Top-10,” Price-Miller said.
Timing in third fastest in qualifications aboard the PPM Titanium Products/Indy Race Parts/Keizer Wheels No. 9p machine, the Kokomo, IN driver would pick up a heat race win from his front row starting position.
Lining up eighth in the Dash, ‘The Law Firm’ would finish in the eighth spot, which put him in the fourth row for the feature event. As the race went green, Price-Miler would get off to a slow start as he slipped back as far as the 14th spot.
Settling into a groove, Price-Miller would calm down and work his way back forward as he raced his way into the 10th position, where he would finish.
Rains would wash out Friday’s scheduled event as the series returned to action on Saturday night at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, PA.
Timing in second fastest in his qualifying group, Price-Miller would line up in the second row of his heat race. Getting into some grease on the start of the heat, Price-Miller would slip back to sixth, where he would finish, and be forced into the night’s B Main.
Picking up the B Main win in impressive fashion, Price-Miller would move into the feature event as he gridded the field from the 11th row. Continuing to show speed as he did in the semi, Price-Miller would work his way up to the 14th spot before he got into it with another driver and was forced to the back.
Price-Miller would end his night with an 18th place finish.
“We had some good speed, but I made a couple of mistakes that held us back,” Price-Miller said. “I have to thank my team for their hard work, and I am looking forward to Ohio Speedweek.”
Price-Miller and his team would like to thank PPM Titanium Products, Indy Race Parts, Keizer Wheels, CSI Shocks, Select Equipment, Wesmar Racing Engines, Esslinger, and Triple X Race Components for their continued support.
