PETERSEN MEDIA- Getting back to racing after a weekend of rainouts, Parker Price-Miller would have a strong three night showing that was highlighted by a second place finish on Saturday night at Fremont Speedway.
“We were fast all three nights,’ Price-Miller said. “We lost an engine before the green at Attica, Fremont we led a lot of laps and just got beat, and at Lawrenceburg with the Outlaws on Monday I just made a mistake early.”
Timing in second fastest and winning the Dash on Friday night at the Attica Raceway Park, Parker Price-Miller was looking like he might be tough to beat during the feature event. Unfortunately while lining up for the feature, the Kokomo, IN native would have issues under the hood of his 360 Yield/Pioneer/FlyingAG entry and his night would end before the race started.
Regrouping and heading to Fremont, OH on Saturday night, PPM would go out last in the 45 car field for time trials and time the Agee Farms/Encirca/Chalk Stix machine in seventh fastest before finishing third in his heat race.
Lining up fifth in the feature event, Price-Miller was looking to redeem himself from mechanical issues the night before. Getting to the lead on the eighth lap, Price-Miller began setting a very strong pace up front.
Continuing to lead lap after lap, Price-Miller would feel pressure from Tim Shaffer as the race neared the finish. On the 37th lap, Shaffer was able to get by PPM and he would end up with a second place finish.
Taking Sunday off, PPM traveled to Lawrenceburg, IN on Monday night to take on the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series. Timing in 12th fastest in qualifying time trials, Price-Miller would start and finish third in his heat race to lock into the 35-lap feature event.
Lining up 12th, Price-Miller would get out of sorts during the opening laps of the feature event and would fall back as far as 16th. Abel to get gathered back up, the defending MOWA Series Champion, would pick up some hard fought positions as he ended his night with an 11th place finish.
“My guys have stayed behind me and kept working, and we are really doing some good things right now,” Price-Miller said. “Thanks to everyone who supports us, and keeps us going.”
Price-Miller and his team would like to thank 360 Yield, Dupont. Pioneer, FlyingAG, Agee Farms, Encirca, Chalk Stix, Bell Helmets, and PPM Titanium for their support in 2017.
ON TAP: Parker Price-Miller will be in action with the All Star Circuit of Champions this weekend as he travels to Lernerville Speedway on Friday and at Mercer Raceway Park on Saturday night.
