Paul Nienhiser Pleased With Performance with World of Outlaws

PETERSEN MEDIA: Traveling to Beaver Dam Raceway on Saturday night to mix it up with the World of Outlaws, Paul Nienhiser was pleased with his performance despite taking the checkered flag in 14th.

“To get to a track that I haven’t competed at much, and have some good speed with the World of Outlaws is a pretty good boost of confidence,” Nienhiser said. “For the most part it was a smooth night, and I feel really good heading into a big weekend.”

Timing the CAM2 Blue Blood Racing Oil/Mason Sound/Innovative Design backed No. 9x machine in fifth quickest in qualifying time trials, Nienhiser would search around the speedway during his heat race before finishing fourth.

Moving into the feature event, the Chapin, IL driver would take the green flag from the sixth row on a fairly slicked off racing surface. Running inside the Top-10 much of the night, restarts would seem to frustrate Nienhiser.

Bouncing between lanes during various restarts, Nienhiser would take advantage and pick up a couple of positions, but also had those restarts where he would hand those positions right back over.

Slipping back as the track took rubber late in the feature, Nienhiser would get in line back in 14th where he would ride out the remaining laps and take the checkered flag.

“We have a really big weekend wit the All Stars coming up here in Illinois, and I want to run well both nights,” Nienhiser said. “It was nice to run well this past weekend, and I am excited for a couple of ‘home games’.”

Nienhiser would like to thank CAM2 Blue Blood Racing Oil, Mason Sound, Innovative Design, Bradshaw Custom Pumping, Wessler Bros. Agency, Bob Hawks Auto Body, Littleton Storm & Timber, Fierce Herbicide, Sunstoppers Window Tinting, Engler Machine and Tool, FK Indy, Rider Racing Engines, Kaeding Performance, Smith Titanium Products, Vortex Wings,  Signature Signs and Design, and Team Simpson for their continued support.

2019 BY THE NUMBERS: Races-18, Wins-6, Top 5’s-9, Top 10’s-11

ON TAP: Nienhiser will be in action at Jacksonville Speedway on Friday night and Route 66 Speedway on Saturday night.
