PETERSEN MEDIA- Amidst one of the more frustrating season’s with weather in recent memory with the World of Outlaws, Daryn Pittman and Roth Motorsports picked up a trio of Top-5’s with ‘The Greatest Show on Dirt’ as the series invaded the Northeast over the last week.

“With the weather, and some rough nights mixed in the last few weeks, it was nice to grab some Top 5’s and be in the mix,” Daryn Pittman said. “The guys are working extremely hard, and I can’t thank Dennis and Teresa Roth enough for all of their support.”

After getting off to a good start on Wednesday night at Lincoln Speedway, Pittman would make a rare mistake and spin his machine to a stop while running in the third spot, and if it wasn’t for that, he may picked up another strong finish.

Putting that behind him, DP checked into Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night and had a good showing as he timed the Roth Enterprises/Jason, Tara, and Cole Roth Cattle Co./HR Live Stock Transportation No. 83 entry in third fastest in his group before a second place finish in his heat.

Running second in the Dash, Pittman would get off to a great start as he led the opening 14 laps of the feature event. Falling to David Gravel on the 15th circuit, Pittman would take the checkered flag with a third place finish.

Saturday night’s Morgan Cup finale again saw Pittman get off to a nice start at the track he was a regular at a few years back with Heffner Racing. Timing in fourth in his flight, the Owasso, OK driver would pick up an important second place finish in his heat, which propelled him into the Dash.

Going from eighth to fifth in the Dash, Pittman would take the green flag from the fifth starting position, and keep his Roth Motorsports entry in the hunt as he capped Saturday night off with a fourth place finish.

Sunday’s rain out led the team to Bridgeport Speedway on Tuesday night to cap a busy stay in the northeast. On the reconfigured speedway, a fifth place qualifying effort led to a heat race win and another appearance in the DirtVision Fast Pass Dash.

A fourth place finish in the Dash, led to a second row starting position in one of the most action packed feature events of the 2019 season. In a spirited battle much of the night up front, Pittman would run inside a tight knit battle that saw him inside the Top-5.

As the leaders worked through traffic, Pittman would keep pace as he closed the week long trip out with his third Top-5 by way of a fifth place finish.

“We have another busy week coming up, and we will look to improve and get this car back in victory lane,” Pittman added. “Again, big thanks to the Roth family, as well as my crew for all they do.”

The Roth Motorsports team would like to thank Roth Enterprises, Jason, Tara, and Cole Roth Cattle Co., HR Livestock Transportation, Roth Investments, FK Rod Ends, Weld Wheels, Brown and Miller Racing Solutions, Kent Performance, Kaeding Performance, Smith Titanium, Wicked Cushion, and Team Simpson for their support in 2019.
