PETERSEN MEDIA- Taking on the All Star Circuit of Champions on Sunday night at the Wayne County Raceway, Parker Price-Miller would get off to a good start in the feature event before bouncing threw a hole and getting upside down.
“We had a really good car, and I have to thank Rick Ferkel for helping us out on Sunday night,” Price-Miller said. “We struggled early in the night, but we got the car good, but unfortunately our night came to an early end.”
Timing his PPM Titanium Products/Indy Race Parts/Keizer Wheels No. 9p machine in 19th fastest, Price-Miller would finish eighth during his heat race.
Failing to transfer to the feature event, Price-Miller would mount a charge in the night’s B Main event as a fourth place finish was good enough to earn him a spot in the A Main.
Though he was mired in the back of the pack, ‘The Law Firm’ got off to a great start as he quickly worked his way toward the Top-10 from his 22nd starting position. Making a move for the ninth spot around the race’s halfway point, Price-Miller would bounce through a hole that had developed on the racing surface and the end result was his machine getting upside down.
“Getting into a hole is part of dirt track racing,” Price-Miller said. “It was a little disappointing because we were so strong, but fortunately it was not a hard wreck and we did not tear up too much equipment.”
Price-Miller and his team would like to thank PPM Titanium Products, Indy Race Parts, Keizer Wheels, CSI Shocks, Select Equipment, Wesmar Racing Engines, Esslinger, and Triple X Race Components for their continued support.
