Price-Miller Wins Again and Extends MOWA Point Lead

PETERSEN MEDIA- Taking part in the Sprint Car portion of the Gold Crown at Tri-City Speedway, Parker Price-Miller would use a win and a third place finish to extend his MOWA point lead with just one weekend of racing left on the series schedule.

“I can’t say enough about this team,” Parker Price-Miller said. “We have been really fast all year, but the last couple of months we have really been strong and running well up front.”

Opening the weekend up on Friday night by timing the FlyingAG/Royal Life Centers/360 Yield Center entry in fastest overall in qualifying time trials, ‘The Law Firm’ would race to a heat race win and find himself on the front row of the feature event.

Leading the way to green, PPM would get off to a great start as he set a very quick pace out front. As he continued to lead the way, the track continued to slick off and the Kokomo, IN driver soon found himself battling a loose racecar.

Seeing Brady Bacon get past him on the 18th lap, Price-Miller would make a wing adjustment that worked out for him, as he was able to get to the cushion and get back by Bacon and race on to score the feature event victory.

Returning to the speedway on Saturday night, Price-Miller would continue to be the dominant car of the weekend as he earned his second quick time award in as many night.

Winning his heat race again, Price-Miller would look to clean sweep the weekend as he gridded the field from the second row on this night. On a super slick surface, Price-Miller would fall back in the early laps as he searched around the speedway looking for his best line.

Able to get his wing back, Price-Miller could make up time using the middle in turns one and two, and ripping the cushion in turns three and four. Dropping back as far as the eighth spot, Price-Miller would make a very nice recovery as he worked his way back up to finish in the third spot.

“It was really good once I figured out where to go on Saturday, and we had a car that was good enough to win,” Price-Miller added. “Towards the end of the race, it got hard to pass and we ended up third. Along with my guys, I also have to thank Rick Long from Speedway Engines for taking time to help get our engine better after Friday’s race.”

Price-Miller and his team would like to thank FlyingAG, Royal Life Centers, 360 Yield Center, Pfister, Encirca, Valvoline, Townline Variety, Indy Race Parts, and Agee Farms for their support in 2016.

ON TAP: Parker Price-Miller and the Agee Motorsports team will be back in action this Friday and Saturday in Jacksonville, IL for the finale MOWA race weekend of the season.
