PETERSEN MEDIA-Heading south over the weekend to race with the World of Outlaws in Tulare, CA, Mason Moore was able to work his way up to a 13th place finish.

“Things did not go very well on Friday night, but I was really happy with how we raced on Saturday night,” Moore said

With 45 cars on hand for Saturday night’s event, the Princeton, CA driver known as ‘Prime Time’, timed his Coors Light/ITC Service Group/LRB Race Products No. 22 machine in 20th fastest, before racing his way into the feature event through his heat race.

Gridding the field from the 10th row, Moore attacked the slick racing surface, as he looked for real estate on a clogged up Thunderbowl Raceway. With action all over the raceway in the early goings, Moore was able to avoid catastrophe in turn one as a multi car wreck broke out right in front of him.

Working his way towards the Top-10, the track began taking rubber, and passing quickly became very tough. Getting to the rubber, Moore would ultimately cross the finish line with a 13th place finish.

“It was nice to get into the feature and move forward,” Moore said. “Tulare can be tough at times, and it was good to finish, and get some things worked out.”

During Friday night’s action, Moore would time in 29th fastest before finishing seventh in his heat race.  Lining up in the ninth spot of the B Main, Moore would tip-toe around the extremely rough racing surface, and finish in the ninth spot.

“Friday night could have definitely gone better, but it could have gone worse like we saw later in the night,” Moore added. “I have to thank all of our great partners, and everyone who helps work on our car.”

Mason and his team would like to thank Coors Light, ITC Service Group, LRB Race Products, NAAKE Suspension, JRI Shocks, Platinum Powder Coating, Selover Paint and Body, and Moore Insurance Services for their support in 2015.
